Job Summary
Assist the Restaurant Manager with daily operations and supervise the team in their absence by leading, coaching, and correcting staff. Maintain a clean environment through general housekeeping while ensuring all food items are prepared and served according to brand and health regulations. Assign shift duties, monitor cash and inventory accuracy, and complete end-of-shift paperwork, counts, and truck orders. Direct team members to follow food safety guidelines, train on new products, and ensure operational metrics are met for profitability. Guarantee a safe environment by following safety codes and reporting incidents within the 5-minute rule policy.
Required Qualifications
- Full time required
- availability during all hours of operation and at least one hour pre-opening and post-closing required
- Valid state Driver's License required
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to gain control during stressful situations
- Exhibits a sense of urgency
- Team player who can work well with others or independently
- Frequently bend, twist at waist, kneel, squat, stand, and walk
- Occasionally climb and descend ladders
- Tolerate extreme cold and hot temperatures and work in and around fryers, ovens, grills, coolers, freezers, sharp objects, and loud noises
- Reach, grasp, and manipulate objects with hands for entire shift, including reaching for objects overhead
- Push, pull, lift, and carry up to 10 lbs. frequently and up to 50+ lb. occasionally, including lifting from ground to overhead
