Job Summary
As a Service Leader at Perkins, responsible for guest satisfaction through implementing company policies and standards, ensuring proper greeting/seating/serving, handling cash and payments securely, maintaining safety and sanitation, monitoring food temperatures, training staff during shifts, ensuring items meet standards, addressing system/process issues to maximize guest satisfaction, and communicating with management regarding product/service deficiencies and safety concerns. The role includes managing cash control, overseeing facility/equipment, and contributing to unit sales and profits through consistent guest satisfaction and cost controls. The position requires coordinating multiple tasks, clear communication, physical mobility, and ability to work irregular peak-hour schedules in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Required Qualifications
- Basic skills such as sanitation, safety, and customer service taught through in-house training
- Must be able to communicate clearly
- Must be able to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must have high level of mobility/flexibility
- Must be able to work irregular hours under heavy stress/pressure during peak times
- Must possess a high level of coordination
- Must lift and carry serving trays weight up to 20 pounds for distances up to 30 feet
- Must fit through an opening 30” wide
- Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold and odors
- Requires continual standing and walking
