Restaurant Shift Leader (Full-Time)

Job Summary
Shift Leaders oversee the people, processes, and products required to execute a shift. They set shift goals, assign tasks to team members, ensure processes are properly followed, and respond to guests' needs. Responsibilities include mentoring, coaching and developing team members, communicating shift goals, delegating tasks, maintaining operational standards and compliance with company guidelines, tracking food safety and quality, managing inventory and cash handling, and ensuring opening/closing duties are completed. The role emphasizes creating a positive team culture, ensuring guest satisfaction, and supporting management with goal progress and daily operations. Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have reliable transportation
- Available to work a minimum of 5 days and 32 to 40 hours per week
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Successful completion of background check
- Demonstrates leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others
- Leadership experience preferred
- The following capabilities are required to perform the essential functions of this position.
- Sit, stand, and walk continuously
- Occasionally stoop, bend, crouch, or climb, including the use of ladders
- Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds, including lifting overhead
- Continuous use of hands and wrists for grasping and fine manipulation
- Communicate proficiently through speech, reading, and writing
- Maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception to observe and respond to the environment
- Work in an environment that features hot and cold temperature variations and exposure to food allergens
- Operate and work safely with restaurant equipment including, but not limited to, knives, fryers, and potentially hazardous equipment
