Job Summary
Shift Leaders at Gold Star oversee team performance and store operations with a focus on people leadership, customer service excellence, and financial-aware operations. Core duties include interviewing, training, coaching, and motivating team members; delivering exceptional customer experiences; managing store closing, inventory, and product quality; and applying financial judgment in daily practice. The role emphasizes a friendly, family-style culture and opportunities for a diverse range of candidates, including students and retirees, to join and grow within the team. Training and onboarding begin after an offer is extended, with onboarding steps and scheduling communicated by the Store Manager.
