Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate dining room staff to deliver courteous, rapid service while managing weekend and holiday schedules and rotational closing duties. Hire, orient, schedule, coach, and train front-of-house employees; develop training goals; and suggestively sell beverages and food to guests. Card patrons under the legal drinking age, refuse service to minors, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to ensure satisfaction. Address complaints regarding service, food, and beverages; inspect the establishment for health, safety, and liquor regulation compliance; and communicate with other departments on maintenance, food preparation, cleanliness, and future planning. Control departmental expenses, prevent waste, and maintain an organized work area. Follow all KHC policies, dress codes, and performance standards while promoting retention and guest satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university
- one to four years related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- franchise specific certification
- any federal/state/local food service certifications
- weekend and holiday availability
- participation in a rotational closing schedule for weekend nights
