Restaurant Service Assistant Manager

Job Summary
Oversee daily operations at one of our HHG venues in Hakuba, managing food and beverage service, supervising staff, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities include coordinating kitchen and service teams, maintaining beverage and coffee programs, training and motivating staff, handling inventory and cash procedures, and upholding health, safety, and presentation standards in a fast-paced ski-resort environment. Requires leadership, strong communication, reliability, and flexibility to work varied shifts (including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays) with a seasonal contract from December to March, 40 hours per week, and English fluency (Japanese a bonus).
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a restaurant assistant manager or supervisor
- Legal right to live and work in Japan (typically via a Working Holiday Visa)
- English fluency; Japanese a bonus
- Driving license and International Driving Permit
- Ability to commit until March 31, 2027
- Willingness to work flexible hours, evenings, mornings, weekends, and holidays as per the establishment’s needs
