Job Summary
Welcome and greet guests, inform them of specials and menu changes, and make recommendations based on their preferences. Take food and beverage orders, enter them into the point-of-sale system, and deliver items from the kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner. Monitor dining experiences, respond promptly to requests, prepare final bills, and process payments. Maintain clean service areas, assist with clearing and resetting tables, and fill in as needed to ensure smooth operations. AM & PM part-time positions available; earn $7.50 per hour plus tips. Indiana Serving Permit and safe food handling certification required.
Required Qualifications
- Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests
- Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
- Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)
- Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds
- Must be able to obtain Indiana Serving Permit to serve alcoholic beverages and obtain safe food handling certification
