Job Summary
Prepare dining areas for breakfast service, greet and serve guests, and monitor inventory while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. Process payments, close checks, and handle end-of-shift duties. Respond promptly to guest requests, manage complaints professionally, and ensure smooth dining experiences through personalized service. Support the team during busy periods, train new hires, and participate in pre-shift meetings. Maintain open communication with kitchen and service staff, relay feedback, and report equipment issues or safety concerns immediately. Comply with hotel policies, local health regulations, and food safety guidelines. TABC Certified and Food Handlers required; proficiency in Tabit POS essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in food service, hospitality, or customer-facing roles
- TABC Certified
- Food Handlers certification
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds frequently
- Ability to move quickly and safely in a fast-paced environment

- Hospitality or customer service coursework
- Prior experience in a hotel or restaurant breakfast service
- Familiarity with point-of-sales (POS) systems
- Familiarity with basic food safety practices
