Job Summary
Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter them into the point-of-sale system, and deliver items from the kitchen and bar in a timely manner. Initiate contact within 15 feet with a sincere welcome, monitor dining experiences to ensure satisfaction, and respond promptly to requests while yielding to the guest. Prepare final bills, perform side work at shift start and end, and maintain a clean environment by picking up trash and eliminating clutter. Up sell specials and recommendations at every opportunity. Maintain a good working knowledge of hours of operation, wine, and menu details including ingredients and preparation methods. Work weekends and holidays as business demands, lifting 50 pounds occasionally and standing for up to four hours.
Required Qualifications
- Able to work well under pressure and balance multiple priorities and assignments
- Must be adaptable to change, flexible, and empathetic
- Must be highly customer oriented and responsive
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement is expected
- Must possess a Food Handler's Card
- Must possess a Class 12 MAST Card
- Must be 21 yrs. or older
- Have the ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally
- Lift, reach, bend, twist, push, pull, squat, grasp and use arm-hand coordination on a consistent basis
- Have the stamina to stand on feet for lengthy periods of time, not to exceed 4 hours
- Have the ability to work weekends and holidays, mornings and evenings as business demands
