Job Summary
Deliver superior guest service by managing the set-up, delivery, and retrieval of all food and beverage orders. Serve drinks while validating customer IDs and monitoring consumption, ensuring compliance with local health codes and financial control procedures for cash and inventories. Maintain a well-stocked service space and clean tables, countertops, and floors after each shift. Work flexible hours based on guest occupancy and season, lifting up to 25 pounds regularly. Required Qualifications
- Know local health and safety codes and regulations that apply to the hotel
- Ability to follow brand and IHM standard operating procedures to prepare food and beverage items
- Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
- Ability to work well in stressful situations
- Ability to extend professionalism and courtesy to guests at all times
- Regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time
- Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Variable scheduling availability based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors
