Job Summary
Take customer food and drink orders, prepare itemized checks, and accept payments while escorting guests to tables and managing the cash register. Serve guests with all food and beverage requirements in a warm, friendly, and professional manner, ensuring they meet minimum age requirements for alcohol. Clear and reset tables as needed, operate the P.O.S. system, and maintain stocked, tidy side stands. Perform opening and closing procedures, including cashiering functions and end-of-shift paperwork, according to station rotation assignments. Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and maintain required certifications for alcohol awareness and food safety.
Required Qualifications
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Food Handlers certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
