Restaurant Server

Serve tables as determined by management by retrieving and delivering food and beverages in a timely manner; maintain knowledge of the hotel’s food and beverage preparation, menu, and pricing; input orders and generate checks using a computer; interact with guests in a friendly, fast manner; process payments and handle cash/credit card transactions; maintain cleanliness of the restaurant and kitchen; clear and prepare tables; check IDs to ensure legal drinking age and refuse service politely when appropriate; monitor alcohol service and coordinate transportation for guests who may be impaired; escalate guest service issues to management as needed; ensure guests are satisfied during their meal; report to work in a neat uniform and maintain personal hygiene; additional duties as assigned.
