Job Summary
Seasonal Restaurant Server responsible for taking and delivering food and beverage orders to guest tables, handling payments, checking IDs for alcohol, presenting menus, describing and recommending menu items, preparing drinks, stocking service areas, clearing tables, and assisting with reservations and guest services in a hotel restaurant environment. Requires hospitality-focused customer service, knowledge of wine/liquor service (TIPS/CARE certified preferred), and ability to operate POS systems.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) or Work Equivalent
- Must have good understanding of the English language and previous guest/customer relations experience
- Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service preferred
- Must be TIPS, CARE (or equivalent) certified, or become certified by first day on the job
- Ability to input and access information in the property management system/computers/point of sale system
