Job Summary
Restaurant Server at DoubleTree Baton Rouge will take food and beverage orders, serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food to guest tables, collect payments, maintain the dining area and equipment, stock service areas, assist host/hostess with reservations, greet guests, answer questions about the menu, describe and recommend wines, and ensure guests have an exceptional dining experience. The role requires hospitality-driven, observant, and guest-focused individuals with strong English language skills; prior guest relations experience is valued, and liquor/wine/food-service certification (TIPS/Care) is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED
- Certification in liquor, wine and food service preferred
- TIPS or CARE certification (or equivalent) required or on first day on the job
