Job Summary
Serve tables by retrieving and delivering food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring guests are satisfied during their meal service. Complete knowledge of the hotel's food and beverage preparation, menu, and pricing is required to input orders and generate checks. Process various payment types, manage cash and credit card handling, and maintain side-work cleanliness throughout the restaurant and kitchen. Clear, clean, and prepare tables, check guest identification for legal age to consume alcohol, and observe guest behavior to follow proper procedures when serving beverages. Escalate unresolved guest service issues to management. Report to work in a neat, clean uniform with well-groomed hair and personal hygiene.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months server experience
- Possess basic math skills and cash-handling
- Licenses, certifications - applicable health and/or alcohol compliance card
- Ability and flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Report to work in a neat and clean uniform
- Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience in hospitality preferred
