Job Summary
Clear and clean tables promptly after guests depart, reset tables in accordance with restaurant standards, and maintain cleanliness in the dining room, service stations, and restrooms. Deliver water, bread, condiments, or utensils to guests as needed, assist servers in delivering food and beverages, and respond to guest requests in a courteous and prompt manner. Assist with restocking silverware, glassware, and service stations while supporting the host, server, and kitchen teams during peak periods. Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures and report any unsafe conditions or guest incidents to management. This non-exempt, part-time hourly role requires availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a pay rate of $16.90 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old (18+ if operating certain equipment)
- Must possess or obtain a California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification if serving alcohol
- Must have a valid California Food Handler Card within 30 days of hire
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally carry trays or bus tubs
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, bend, stoop, and reach
- Must be able to walk daily up and down the stairs
- Must be able to sit for periods up to 4 hours
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
