Job Summary
Ensure the dining room is spotless and beautifully set for all meals and events. Greet residents and guests with a smile, take food orders, and deliver meals promptly while guaranteeing order accuracy and food quality. Respond swiftly to requests, pour and refill drinks, and assist with table setting, dish removal, and inventory restocking. Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards meticulously. Remove walkers from the dining room before meals and return them immediately after. Understand the menu fully and explain selections to residents and guests. Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and personal hygiene. Attend all required in-service training sessions and be an active member of the community's emergency response team. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a 5-on-2-off schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Must obtain an accredited food handler certification within 60 days, as per State guidelines.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
- Must maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and personal hygiene per company policies.
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 6 months to one year of related experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service attitude and ability to interact well with staff, residents, and guests.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks.
