Job Summary
Execute restaurant operations functions by acting as manager on duty to open and close the restaurant. Manage cash handling, deploy crewmembers during shifts, and enforce company policies and safety standards. Utilize required tools and logs to document results, take corrective action, and authorize employee functions like discounts and timeclock overrides. Ensure facility cleanliness, maintain food safety procedures, and provide exemplary customer service while coaching others to perform. Work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, and weekends, and travel as needed for training.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- GCSEs or equivalent
- 3+ years of Restaurant or retail management experience
- Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends and travel as needed for work-related functions and training
- Detail-oriented, organised and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing
- Self-driven, flexible, and energetic with strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
- Able to recognise and analyse problems, set goals, create and convert plans into action to solve problems
- Proficient in a variety of technology systems including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly
