Job Summary
Lead the opening shift process, manage food ordering and inventory, and maintain recipe builds. Oversee back of house systems, receiving, and storage organization. Organize and supervise daily opening and closing shifts to ensure exceptional guest and employee experiences. Provide leadership to hourly and management teams, responding immediately to guest and employee needs. Assist in managing costs, driving sales, and growing the business. Partner with GM to interview, hire, onboard, train, and develop back of house employees. Perform regular inventories of food, beverage, and supplies, place orders, and inspect deliveries. Work a variety of days and shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and potential overnight travel.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of restaurant operations manager experience
- strong understanding of exceptional service standards
- 5+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume full-service restaurant
- 2+ years of experience in back of the house systems and food costing
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of service excellence
- Skilled in leading and developing teams
- Experienced with inventory and BOH systems
- Must be able to move and lift up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to frequently move and/or lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally move and/or lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be available to work a variety of days and shifts (including early mornings, late nights and weekends) at multiple sites with or without overnight travel, as needed
