Job Summary
Manage daily restaurant operations by evaluating labor needs against projected sales, monitoring crew prep and production, and tracking waste levels to ensure profitability. Build sales through customer satisfaction initiatives while maintaining product quality during walk-throughs and establishing daily speed of service goals. Train crew on new products, customer courtesy, and the Crew Orientation process to maximize retention and reduce turnover. Direct cleaning deficiencies, enforce preventative maintenance programs, and ensure cash security and safe working conditions per company policies. This role requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working a 40-hour week of varied shifts. ServSafe certification is mandatory. As a Wendy's franchisee, you will uphold the legacy of using premium ingredients and delivering world-class service in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- General knowledge of state and federal employment laws
- Ability to quickly become knowledgeable about and able to train others in Wendy's systems (i.e., WeLearn, etc.) and on employee development programs
- Must be able to stand for extended periods without a break
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Must have and maintain ServSafe certification
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining composure and giving sound advice and direction
- Must be able to take direction, give direction, work well in a team environment, and have a strong customer orientation focus
- Must exhibit professionalism, composure, and discretion when expediting or resolving all customer related concerns and issues
- Flexibility to work a 40-hour work week of a variety of shifts
- Must be available to report to work promptly and regularly, and to work all day parts and days of the week
- Frequent lifting and carrying (up to 25-50 pounds, as necessary), reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, and stooping is involved
