Job Summary
Restaurant Manager oversees day-to-day restaurant operations, acts as manager on duty, and supports the Restaurant Leader. Responsibilities include shift management, cash handling accountability, enforcing company policies and standards, ensuring cleanliness and safe working conditions, directing crewmembers, delivering exemplary customer service, utilizing recognition programs, authorizing manager-approved functions (discounts, promotions, timeclock overrides), and completing assigned duties. Requires strong organization and communication, ability to manage multiple priorities, staffing and scheduling knowledge, and proficiency with technology systems; must be able to work in a fast-paced kitchen and collaborate with team across varied shifts, including travel for training.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must complete all required Raising Cane’s company training programs
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of staffing, scheduling, people and cost management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) or ability to learn new systems
- Ability to work days, evenings and weekends and travel as needed for work-related functions and training
