Job Summary
The Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Leader in day-to-day operations and upholds Raising Cane’s standards and culture during shift management. Responsibilities include opening/closing the restaurant as manager on duty, cash handling accountability, enforcing company policies, leading the shift, directing crewmembers, delivering exemplary customer service, utilizing reward and recognition programs, approving manager-level actions (discounts, promotions, timeclock overrides), ensuring restaurant cleanliness and equipment readiness, and performing other assigned duties. Must possess detail orientation, strong communication, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities. Requires knowledge of staffing, scheduling, people and cost management, and proficiency with technology systems; ability to work flexible shifts and travel as needed for training and functions. Minimum 1+ year of restaurant or retail management experience; age 18+; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
- Must complete all required Raising Cane’s company training programs
- Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends
- Knowledge and skills in staffing, scheduling, people and cost management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly
