Job Summary
The Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Leader in day-to-day operations and upholds Raising Cane’s standards and culture in shift management responsibilities. The role involves managing cash handling, directing crewmembers, delivering exemplary customer service, and using tools/logs to support shift execution, document results, and take corrective action. Responsibilities include opening/closing the restaurant as manager on duty, enforcing policies, coordinating shift meetings, ensuring cleanliness and good working order, and completing other duties as assigned. Requires detail-oriented, organized, and proactive work style with strong written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and collaboratively; proficiency with technology (Microsoft Office) and capacity to learn new systems; and flexibility to work varied shifts and travel for training or functions. Prior experience in staffing, scheduling, people and cost management is needed, along with a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly
- Ability to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends
- Knowledge and skills in staffing, scheduling, people and cost management
