Job Summary

Restaurant Manager is responsible for supporting the Restaurant Leader in day-to-day operations, upholding Raising Cane’s standards and culture, and handling shift management responsibilities. The role involves managing cash handling, directing crewmembers, delivering exemplary customer service, and ensuring the restaurant’s cleanliness and safety. Key duties include opening/closing the restaurant, enforcing policies, conducting shift-management meetings, maintaining logs and forms for operations, training and supervising staff, recognizing and rewarding performance, approving employee actions (discounts, promotions, timeclock overrides), and completing other duties as assigned. Required skills include detail-orientation, strong written and verbal communication, ability to work independently and collaboratively, problem-solving, staffing and scheduling knowledge, cost management, proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and flexibility to work various shifts including weekends; travel for work-related functions/training may be needed. Minimum 1+ years of restaurant or retail management experience; must be 18+; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
