Job Summary

The Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Leader in day-to-day operations and upholds Raising Cane’s standards and culture in shift management responsibilities. The role involves managing in a fast-paced kitchen environment, supervising crewmembers, handling cash with accountability, enforcing policies, conducting shift management meetings, using forms/logs to document results, ensuring customer service excellence, recognizing and rewarding staff, approving manager-level actions (discounts, promotions, timeclock overrides), maintaining restaurant cleanliness and equipment, and performing other duties as assigned. Success requires being detail-oriented and organized, capable of handling multiple priorities, strong written and verbal communication, effective independent and collaborative work, problem solving, and experience with staffing, scheduling, people and cost management. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and adaptability to new systems, with ability to work varied shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and travel for training. Minimum 1+ years of restaurant/retail management and high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Location listed: Hixson, TN, USA; remote option is in-person.
