Job Summary
Restaurant Manager responsible for all restaurant operations in Vanderhoof, BC, ensuring food quality and service standards, regulatory compliance (WorkSafeBC and health regulations), cost control, and profitability. Lead recruitment, training, scheduling, performance reviews, and staff development; oversee daily P&L, inventory, and marketing/community engagement; ensure guest satisfaction through effective operations, safety practices, and adherence to A&W standards.
Required Qualifications
- Secondary School Certificate or equivalent
- 5 years’ experience in Restaurant Management
- FOODSAFE Level 1 required; Level 2 preferred
- Basic or Intermediate First Aid certification
- Proficiency in POS systems, Windows 11, and Microsoft 365 Business
Desired Qualifications
- Leadership experience
- Experience supervising multiple staff
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in managing P&L and budgeting
- FoodSafe Level 1 (Level 2 preferred)
- First Aid certification
- POS systems proficiency
- Hospitality training is an asset
