Job Summary
Manage kitchen operations and lead food service teams by ensuring guest service standards, controlling shrink and expenses, and maintaining appropriate stock levels. Assist the general manager in achieving budgeted sales and gross profit goals while ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures. Train and develop employees, evaluate performance, and recruit new staff to maximize store trends and objectives. Ensure product quality and cleanliness meet state, local, and company standards. This role requires standing, walking, and lifting items over 50 pounds daily. Candidates must have a high school diploma, one year of restaurant experience, food safety certification, and pass required testing.
Required Qualifications

- passion to make customers smile through food and making them feel as if they are the center of your attention every time they visit
- high school diploma or GED
- 1 year experience in the restaurant industry
- food safety certified
- Must be able to ensure product quality of all deli food items prepared consistent with state, local, and company standards
- Must be able to ensure area is clean, neat and meeting company standards
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Very minimal travel, with the occasional trip to support other stores, pick up product, or attend a meeting
