Job Summary
Oversee all areas of service including floor management, guest relationships, and proactive sales culture while acting as an extension of management during shifts. Assist the General Manager with staffing, training, scheduling, purchasing, and managing labor, food, beverage costs, and P&L statements. Reinforce company rules regarding uniforms, grooming, and timeliness, and ensure compliance with health, sanitation, liquor, safety, and employment regulations. Aid in investigating and resolving guest complaints and oversee restaurant repairs and preventative maintenance. Requires 3 years of experience in a high-end, high-volume restaurant, proficiency in Microsoft Suite and POS systems, and availability for daytime, evening, and weekend shifts. Must hold a valid Food Handler Card, Alcohol Awareness Training Certificate, and Sheriff Card/Non-Gaming.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of previous and relevant experience in a high-end, high-volume restaurant
- twenty-one (21) years of age or older
- strong familiarity with food service regulations and proper food handling procedures
- strong operational skills
- excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel
- Open Table
- Restaurant POS Systems
- creative thinker who can run the restaurant while generating new sources of revenue
- ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- flexible schedule, available to work daytime, evening and/or weekend shifts
- valid Food Handler Card
- valid Alcohol Awareness Training Certificate
- Sheriff Card/Non-Gaming
- ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours) with some walking and occasional sitting
- ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
