Job Summary
Coordinate and direct restaurant activities during shifts based on guest traffic flow, monitoring sales, employee hours, and guest counts to ensure proper staffing. Direct hourly employees to fulfill job duties, coach them on guest service skills and cycles, and interact with guests inquiring about food and service. Complete shift walk-throughs including temperature checklists, establish security protocols for facility safety, and monitor break procedures to comply with regulations. Provide regular training and ensure timely completion of financial reporting for payroll and accounts. Recognize team contributions and achievements.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED certificate
- One or more years of experience as an hourly restaurant shift leader/coordinator
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to multitask and take initiative when appropriate
- Motivated self-starter
