Job Summary
Oversee daily front-of-house restaurant operations at Grand Bend Stirling Sands Vineyards, lead the service team, and drive exceptional guest experiences. Set service standards for professionalism and hospitality; ensure smooth lunch, dinner, and peak period service; address guest feedback promptly; monitor reservations and guest flow; maintain cleanliness, organization, and health and safety compliance. Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of restaurant staff; create staff schedules within labour budgets; foster a positive, accountable team culture; conduct pre-shift and ongoing training sessions; stay informed on menu changes and wine/cocktail offerings; support succession planning and resolve employee concerns in accordance with policies. Coordinate with culinary and leadership teams to drive operational excellence, profitability, and guest satisfaction, and ensure compliance with liquor licensing and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Smart Serve Certification required
- Experience managing labour, scheduling, and front-of-house operations
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities
- Knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, and hospitality service standards
