Job Summary
Restaurant Manager to partner with the management team as a defensive coach overseeing all team members, ensuring tools and resources to win the game. Responsible for day-to-day operations, executing plans with the management team to maximize team spirit, revenue, profit, and service standards. Manages recruiting, scheduling, performance management, staff levels, customer service, training program adherence (hourly, shift leaders, certified training, alcohol awareness), communicates issues to management, understands financial goals and implements practices to meet them, executes restaurant administrative tasks (cash handling, deposits), plans and orders inventory, enforces sanitary practices, ensures food quality and safety, performs other duties as requested. Requirements include 5+ years restaurant experience with 2 in leadership, strong teamwork and leadership, knowledge of labor laws/health codes/sanitation, familiarity with POS systems, coaching and development skills, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; must be legally able to work in the US (E-Verify).
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of recent restaurant experience with 2 in a leadership role
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- legally able to work in the US; verified by E-Verify
- familiarity with labor laws, health codes, safe food handling and sanitation, responsible alcohol service, safety and security systems, and computer operations
- strong coaching, communication and interpersonal skills
- proven ability to manage inventory, cash handling, and ank deposits
- experience with Point of Sale systems
- ability to train and develop team members
- results-oriented with understanding of financial goals and how to meet them
- team-oriented attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
