Job Summary
Lead overall leadership and direct supervision for Taco Bell unit operations, ensuring efficient, profitable performance through high standards of cleanliness, hospitality, and speed of service. Directly perform hands-on work to train employees, handle cash registers, and respond to guest service needs while maintaining adequate staffing levels across all days and day parts. Control cost categories including food, labor, and cash against budgeted levels, prepare performance appraisals for crew and managers, and execute the hiring process for new shift leaders. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, maintain equipment preventative maintenance, and manage guest complaints to facilitate repeat business. Provide timely feedback to the area coach through daily calls and weekly meetings, fostering a positive work environment with open availability for flexible hours and all shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role
- Legal right to work in the United States
- Open availability and the ability to work flexible hours and all shifts as needed
- Basic math and reading skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly with a can-do attitude
- Comes to work with good hygiene
- Has reliable transportation and able to arrive to work on time
- Demonstrated ability to maintain financial controls and coach and train employees
- A positive, friendly, and courteous attitude
Desired Qualifications
- Strong preference for an internal promote who has completed all required learning zone training and certifications
