Job Summary
Lead daily operations for a Taco Bell unit by ensuring organized, efficient, and profitable performance through high standards of cleanliness, hospitality, and speed of service. Directly supervise staff to maintain adequate staffing levels, control food and labor costs, and drive sales growth via 5 Bells, CORE, and food quality improvements. Manage the hiring process for crew members and shift leaders while conducting performance appraisals and coaching all employees to expected certification levels. Perform hands-on tasks including preparing food, handling cash registers, and resolving guest complaints to facilitate repeat business. Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, ensure facility safety, and follow preventative maintenance procedures for equipment. Provide timely feedback to area coaches through daily calls and weekly meetings, while measuring success against weekly restaurant performance, audit results, and P&L metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role
- Legal right to work in the United States
- Open availability and the ability to work flexible hours and all shifts as needed
- Basic math and reading skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly with a can-do attitude
- Comes to work with good hygiene
- Has reliable transportation and able to arrive to work on time
- Demonstrated ability to maintain financial controls and coach and train employees
- A positive, friendly, and courteous attitude
Desired Qualifications
- Strong preference for an internal promote who has completed all required learning zone training and certifications
