Job Summary
Lead nightly FOH operations with a visible floor presence, managing reservations, table pacing, and guest recovery while coaching staff on beverage service and luxury hospitality standards. Oversee bar inventory, vendor relationships, and labor deployment to optimize staffing and control beverage costs and sales performance. Execute wine dinners, VIP tastings, and brand activations, personally overseeing high-profile tables and handling guest feedback with emotional intelligence. Ensure compliance with NYC DOH regulations and maintain elevated service standards across all guest touchpoints.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of management experience in a high-volume upscale, luxury, or fine dining restaurant or bar
- Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, beverage cost controls, and luxury beverage service
- Proven ability to lead teams during high-pressure service
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- NYC DOH Food Protection Certificate & ServSafe Alcohol awareness training
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with inventory systems and ordering processes (Craftable and Restaurant365 preferred)
- Familiarity with Toast and Seven Rooms
- Sommelier certification preferred but not required
- Hospitality-first mindset with refined emotional intelligence
