Job Summary
Hands-on Restaurant Manager overseeing daily restaurant operations for a high-volume upscale casual restaurant in West Chester, PA. Lead a team of 50+ employees, coaching and developing staff, managing scheduling and labor costs, and ensuring exceptional hospitality, service standards, and guest experiences. Oversee front-of-house and back-of-house operations, monitor inventory and vendor relationships, uphold food safety and sanitation compliance, execute opening and closing procedures, and partner with ownership on operational initiatives to drive accountability and performance. This role offers leadership opportunities, direct engagement with ownership, and a clear path for long-term growth within a stable, community-focused restaurant group.
Required Qualifications
- 5-8 years of restaurant management experience preferred
- High-volume full-service restaurant experience required
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Experience managing employee scheduling and labor costs
- Inventory, ordering, receiving, and vendor management experience
- Experience executing restaurant close-out procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional guest service and hospitality mindset
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to work alongside the team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using POS systems, scheduling software, and restaurant reporting tools
- Ability to identify problems, make decisions, and take ownership of outcomes
