Job Summary
Restaurant Lead (FOH, Seasonal) at American Girl Retail in Dallas, TX. Leads front-of-house operations under the Restaurant Leadership Team, supporting staffing, coaching, training, purchasing/vendor relations, inventories, and food/beverage service standards while ensuring safety, sanitation, and customer satisfaction. Responsible for assisting in achieving department revenue/expense goals, delivering exceptional events/programs, and maintaining communication across staff and management. Oversees resolution of customer service issues, maintains food quality and special dietary accommodations, and participates in operating system troubleshooting (POS, Zomato, InfoGenesis, reservations, etc.). Requires restaurant experience in a high-volume environment, familiarity with relevant systems, strong leadership, and ability to work a flexible schedule; physical ability to perform tasks up to 50 lbs; certifications in sanitation/ServSafe/Safe Alcohol preferred. Hourly rate $19–$22.80 depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Restaurant experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, with both front and back of house operations exposure, preferred
- Experience working with children, preferred
- Current State Sanitation Certification, ServSafe, and Safe Alcohol Consumption Certification, preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Eatec system, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), InfoGenesis/Universal Desktop, Zomato reservation systems, JTech paging system, POS systems, inventory systems, and basic office equipment (copiers and fax), preferred
- Ability to perform diverse physical tasks, including constant walking and standing, and some heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
