Job Summary
Sous Chef in a fast-paced DIG kitchen leading Chef-in-Training, training teammates on station diagrams and recipes, managing prep, inventory, and order systems, and upholding food safety standards while delivering hospitality excellence and guest satisfaction. Lead during peak service, mentor CITs, coordinate shift management, ensure accurate food presentation and order accuracy, resolve guest concerns, and contribute to team development and continuous improvement in culinary operations.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year leadership experience in a culinary environment
- Food Safety Certification
- Ability to perform physical requirements (frequent lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds)
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Desire to create exceptional employee & guest experiences
- Willingness to roll up sleeves and pitch in
- Growth mindset in brigade
