Job Summary
The Restaurant Host is responsible for welcoming guests warmly, managing dining reservations, and ensuring a positive experience. Duties include greeting and seating guests, assisting restaurant staff with various tasks, recording and monitoring reservations, performing cashier duties, and presenting menus. The role requires excellent communication skills, physical stamina for standing and walking, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. The position is part-time with a requirement to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, and reaching
- Capable of safely lifting and/or moving up to 45 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to follow sanitation procedures
- Available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as scheduled
