Job Summary
Restaurant Host/Hostess in a fast-paced, high-volume dining room. Responsibilities include greeting guests warmly, engaging in friendly conversation to seat guests promptly, informing guests of specials and promotions (Club Cantina), managing the waiting list during peak times, clearing and resetting tables for the next guests, thanking guests as they leave and inviting them to return, assisting other team members as needed, and complying with safety and sanitation policies. Requires the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner, stand for periods, and communicate in English.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Demonstrated ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
- Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
- Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers in English
