Job Summary
Greet guests within five seconds, take reservations, and manage check and cashing procedures using the POS system. Monitor server stations, clear and reset tables, and maintain organized host areas. Handle guest inquiries regarding property history, store locations, and operating hours while promoting positive customer relations. Complete designated opening and closing duties, adhere to a 24-hour schedule, and comply with Seneca Gaming Corporation's information security policies.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment
- Previous customer service experience
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively and interact well with the customers and employees
- Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
- Must be able to stand, walk and move through all areas of the casino
- Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, use fingers/hands for lifting and grasping
- Must be able to perform repetitive motions
- Must be able to talk to and hear customers/co-workers
- Must be able to assist with special needs of customers
- Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity
- Must possess the physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations
- Must complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment
- Attend all necessary meetings
- Must be able to work in an environment where smoking is permitted
