Job Summary
Greet arriving guests at the door or on the phone, welcome them into the establishment, and seat them while maintaining a positive, friendly attitude. Know at least three appetizers, three entrees, and three desserts, explaining them to guests and callers. Maintain a clean, orderly appearance of the restaurant service area and deliver a prompt, accurate report of all income received during shifts. Fill in for multiple positions as needed, demonstrating enthusiasm for all things 21c Museum Hotels. Work flexible hours including nights and weekends, reporting to the Dining Room Manager and General Manager.
Required Qualifications
- High school or equivalent education
- Must pass a background check
- Able to work flexible hours (nights, weekends)
- Responsible, dependable, punctual, adaptable
- Detail oriented, behaves calmly and recognizes order within chaos
- Superior communication skills; must be able to speak, read, and understand English
- Clean and professional appearance
- Basic math skills
- Demonstrates enthusiasm for all things 21c
