Restaurant Host greets and seats guests, maintains an efficient, professional dining room, assists floor managers and servers, takes reservations, answers phones, and supports guest needs to ensure a welcoming dining experience. Responsibilities include seating guests according to a seating chart, assisting with bus tables, selling gift cards, and helping with room service orders; maintain dining room appearance and atmosphere by managing lighting, temperature, and cleanliness; demonstrate professional demeanor, teamwork, and strong customer-service orientation. Qualifications emphasize strong English communication, interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, basic arithmetic and computer skills for POS systems, and flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
