Job Summary
Create an exceptional first impression by greeting guests, accepting dining reservations online or by phone, and seating patrons in a timely manner. Conduct table visits, monitor dining room flow, and assist with station/table arrangement to ensure complete guest satisfaction. Resolve customer issues, present menus, answer questions, and coordinate activities with dining room personnel to maintain prompt service. Inspect serving stations for cleanliness, update menus, and assist wait staff with silverware rolling. Conclude each visit by thanking guests and welcoming their return. Requires flexibility for AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Customer service and/or food and beverage experience of at least 1 year
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to complete repetitive motions throughout shift such as reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, etc
- Must be able to lift, push, carry, and pull at up to 50lbs
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Position requires flexibility in scheduling including AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Private and/or club experience
- Experience with Open Table
- Proficient in POS systems
