Job Summary
The Restaurant General Manager will lead and oversee hotel restaurant, bar and in-room dining operations, ensuring guest satisfaction and profitability. Responsibilities include supervising supervisors and hourly staff, engaging with guests on the floor, coordinating with sales teams for group events, maintaining menu and beverage program knowledge, managing inventories and budgets, contributing to marketing and programming, and driving revenue through effective staffing, P&L oversight, and guest-service excellence within the F&B outlets.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role in a luxury hospitality operation
- Beverage certification preferred
- Previous experience with MICROS POS preferred
- Must have supervisory, coaching, and staff development experience
- TIPS training certification required within 30 days of hire date
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds on own and up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, which may include weekends and holidays
- Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
