Job Summary
Restaurant General Manager responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations at Tides Coastal Kitchen (Delta Hotel) to ensure an exceptional dining experience. Lead front-of-house team, manage staff recruitment, training, performance, and labor costs; monitor reservations and guest flow; ensure high service, sanitation, and food quality standards; collaborate with hotel management on promotions, events, and guest engagement; manage inventory, vendor relationships, and financial performance, including revenues and margins; support marketing initiatives and menu development; maintain compliance with safety, sanitation, and alcohol-service requirements; and foster a positive, team-driven work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of restaurant management experience (preferably in hotel or upscale dining)
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, financial management, and hospitality standards
- Proven leadership skills with ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in POS systems and restaurant management software
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Safety and Alcohol Service certifications (or ability to obtain)
- Must be able to communicate in English
