Job Summary
Manage all aspects of the store and uphold Ghirardelli's high standards by delivering excellent customer service and maximizing financial return. Lead a team of 85-100 employees, fluctuating with seasonal overseas students, through safety management, risk prevention, and escalation response. Prioritize daily store activities, monitor sales and labor costs to drive profitability, and respond to escalated customer issues. Maintain inventory levels, utilize the POS system for payroll and inventory management, and establish store plans with regional management. Perform payroll, scheduling, interviewing, and training while coaching the management team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of related experience in the restaurant or retail field at a managerial level
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Occasional to Frequent travel to various locations across the country
- Ability to use verbal communication equipment (telephone, radio, cellular)
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or higher degree, especially with culinary or managerial emphasis
- Prior experience at a high-volume, casual dining establishment in a general manager or regional manager role
