Job Summary
The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for providing excellent operations management while adhering to company standards in guest services, employee safety, and financial objectives. Key responsibilities include recruiting, training, and developing team members; ensuring compliance with food safety and operational standards; managing financial controllables; and implementing marketing programs. The role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. A high school diploma and three years of relevant management experience are required, along with food safety certification and reliable transportation.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) years of restaurant management experience with P&L responsibility
- Proven experience managing all shifts without supervision
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related field preferred
- Food safety certification according to state or local requirements
Additional Requirements
- Must maintain an acceptable driving record (MVR) if required for driving positions
