Job Summary
MOD Pizza General Manager leading a restaurant and squad to deliver the MOD experience while driving profitability. Responsibilities include coaching and developing leaders, staffing and talent pipelines, ensuring compliance and safety, managing scheduling and inventory, executing training plans, engaging with the community, and using financial tools (P&L, scorecards) to improve restaurant performance. Requires strong communication, leadership, guest-focus, and ability to work evenings/nights/weekends; must obtain relevant food safety/alcohol certifications and be 21+. Location-focused in California with in-person leadership across San Jose, San Francisco, and Oakland markets.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience leading the leaders in restaurant management
- Experience executing training, performance and staffing programs in a restaurant or similar environment
- Possess a strong business acumen, ability to read and develop action plans from financials reports
- Prior experience working with internal support teams in the areas of Human Resources, Supply Chain, Marketing and other functions
- Strong ability to leverage prior experience and knowledge to act decisively even without complete information or direction
- Must obtain a food safety certification and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of your start date or sooner where required by law
- Must be proficient in written and oral communication
- Must be able to support restaurant hours, including peak demand hours (Nights and Weekends)
- Must be 21 years of age or older
