Job Summary
General Manager responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a SONIC Drive-In to deliver quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient environment, driving guest satisfaction and sales. Responsibilities include hiring, training, managing and developing staff; leading with a fair, firm, fun approach; managing profit and loss; resolving employee concerns; setting clear expectations and providing ongoing feedback; maintaining a positive shift atmosphere; using metrics to improve Drive-In performance; engaging with the community to grow sales; ensuring safety and sanitation compliance; and adhering to all laws and regulations. Requires prior management experience and a strong leadership mindset, with associate-level business education preferred and flexibility to work irregular hours.
Required Qualifications
- Prior management experience; restaurant or retail industry highly preferred (subject to franchise discretion)
- Associate’s degree in Business or related field preferred (subject to franchise discretion)
- Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
