Job Summary
The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for ensuring a positive Guest service experience by hiring quality staff, empowering employees, and evaluating their performance. The role involves executing the business plan, managing financial responsibilities, and upholding company standards for food safety and sanitation. Strong leadership is needed to foster a productive and enjoyable working environment, with key skills required in team building, communications, and problem solving.
Required Qualifications
- 3 – 5 years in management position (preferably restaurant experience)
Desired Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of computers
- Financial/analytical aptitude including planning, budgeting, scheduling and P & L management
- Organizational, planning and time management
- Team building skills
- Problem solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Additional Requirements
- Able to work a standard 47 1⁄2 - 50 hour work week
- Able to work flexible hours necessary to manage and operate the restaurant effectively
